Materials needed: Tempera paint Red Blue Yellow or markers.
Take a Q-Tip and some paint or markers and make each
section a primary or secondary color using dots. Example Yellow and red dots mix to orange. Red and blue dots mix to purple. Some sections are blue and light blue, red and dark red, yellow and green. Practice
color mixing primary colors into secondary colors and also just mixing
colors in the pie sections of the paper.
Create your own Landscape like George Seurot in Pointillism:
Once you have practiced mixing colors with the dots then it's time to do your own painting using the dots. Take a look at the following student art examples. Follow in the style of French painter George Seurot and pick a subject from Nature. Take your time, use a q-tip or a small brush or use markers. Please share your final art with me and I will post it.
