Paula Allen has dedicated much of her career in the arts to children's programming and the education in visual arts, performing arts and animation. Over the last few years, Paula has created online programs for kids that are affordable and that bring out their potential as artists, creatives and individuals. Career Paula Allen designed and created "Pollyzoom" in 2005. It was then a platform for working with kids in all types of mediums. Paula's first career was working as an art teacher, evolving into art administration over children's exhibitions world wide. The last few years Paula is creating online programs for kids that are affordable and that contain her vast knowledge of the arts. Working for the Children's Board of Hillsborough County, The centre for Girls, State University of New York, Boces, several art centers on faculty currently, Allen is affiliated and professional in her field of study and understands how to work with children to bring out their potential as artists creatives and individuals.
Community Paula has received cultural affairs grants for kids for many years and created those community programs for children. She received the Humanitarian award in 2011 from the Tampa Human Rights Council for her work in the community with underserved children. Nominated for Women of the year in Community service in 2008 by the St. Petersburg Florida chamber of commerce. Films BeeHold 2019 A film by Kids! See our BeeHold Page on this site. Funded by the Lower Adirondack Arts Council of New York Bee Hold is a film working with over 200 students ages K-12 creating art and animations about the dying Bee population. Outreach in the community begins April 2019.
