Paula  Allen is a multifaceted visual and digital artist based in Gulfport, Florida, where she leads the creative studio Pollyzoom LLC. With a practice spanning several decades, Allen integrates visual storytelling, writing, and digital technology to create impactful art experiences. Her work often centers on environmental advocacy and community engagement, as seen in her environmental film projects like Beehold and her work with children to highlight ecological issues. Allen's artistic journey includes a significant focus on visual narratives, particularly her Journal Dress series which uses the symbolic childhood dress as a canvas for exploring identity and memory.
